Jared Guichard, MD

owner, medical director

With over 10 years’ experience in anti-aging medicine, Dr. Jared Guichard is committed to providing clients with the best in Aesthetics care and Anti-Aging treatments.  He has a passion for all areas of medicine and continues to practice as a medical doctor in local hospitals in the Charleston area.    

Originally from San Diego, California he set out to Charleston to continue his medical education at MUSC over 15 years ago.  Prior to becoming a medical doctor he was a high school teacher and uses that educational background to teach clients about anti-aging treatments.  Football season is his favorite time of year.  He has a big heart for animals and hopes to one day have an animal rescue.  He is truly blessed to be able to work beside his beautiful wife, Ashton Guichard, a nurse practitioner who is the “A” in JAG as well as a very talented aesthetics provider. 

Ashton Guichard, NP

Ashton practiced as a nurse for over 10 years and spent the first 6 years of her career with a focus in cardiology.  She obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing from Trident Technical College in 2012. She then earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from The University of Alabama in 2016 and later went back to school and earned her Master of Science in Nursing Degree from South University.  

She has been a provider at JAG Medical Cosmetics for 6 years as well is the Co-Owner and the “A” in JAG Medical Cosmetics.  In her free time, she enjoys anything brunch related,  cuddling, going on long walks with her 3 dogs, hanging out with friends, binge watching Netflix shows, and spending time making memories with her family.. 

Cindy Rieger

MEDICAL Aesthetician

Cindy is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and grew up in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.  In 2004 she relocated to beautiful Summerville, SC which she now calls home. “I was so touched by the friendliness and warmth of the people here.  They made my family feel welcome right away.”  

Cindy has worked as a Medical Esthetician in the Plastic Surgery and Wellness fields for 15+ years and specializes in results driven skin treatments.  She has advanced training in Chemical peels, Clinical Facials, Dermaplaning, Manual Lymphatic Drainage massage, Microneedling, RF Microneedling, Brow shaping, HydraFacial, Microdermabrasion and Advanced Laser Procedures.  She loves creating treatment plans to help her clients achieve their best skin ever!  

In her down time, she loves hanging out with her husband Rob, and 4 dogs. She is the proud Mom of her daughter Jen, and her 2 sons Bob and Ian, and Nana to Nolan and Brooks. “Life is an adventure, and each day is an opportunity to make someone else’s day a little brighter!”

Tamara Palmer

Medical Esthetician, SC Licensed Esthetic Educator and Certified Phlebotomist and trainer at JAG Academy.

"I started my beauty career with the Estée Lauder companies as a makeup artist and a manager. After 7 years with Estée  Lauder, I became the manager and cosmetic buyer for a boutique in Columbia called Pout. I was hooked! So, I went to Esthetic school and my first career move was working for a Dermatologist at Palmetto Dermatology in Columbia. Then I fell in love with laser treatments at The Facial Esthetic Center in Columbia. Next, was my amazing journey teaching Esthetics.

I became an Esthetic Instructor in 2014. I was the Lead Instructor and School Director at two Esthetic facilities in Columbia, SC. I moved closer to the Charleston area to be an Educator for Grace Medical Equipment. Now, my love for teaching and assisting clients has merged together. I am the Medical Esthetician and Esthetic Educator for JAG Medical Cosmetics and JAG Academy."

Amanda Regan, RN

Amanda has been a nurse for 5 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2019, where she spent the next 5 years working in the NICU caring for premature newborns. Amanda has also worked as a nurse piercing ears of all ages!

Amanda is new to the aesthetic world, but so happy to be here. She found a passion for all things aesthetic and wellness. "As a nurse, I always strive to provide the best personalized care to my clients. I love helping people look and feel their best and enjoy putting smiles on faces. Happy medicine is the best medicine!"

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Tanner doing DIY home renovation projects and spending time outdoors hiking. Amanda is also very artistic, and likes painting and creating art. She also loves spoiling her two dogs, Luna and Nebula, she appreciates beach days with tons of sunshine, and great sunsets. She enjoys attending concerts of her favorite bands, comedy, and traveling to new places (especially national parks) and trying new food.

Johnny Scott

SCALP MICROPIGMENTATION ARTIST

Johnny originally obtained a degree in refrigeration mechanics from, Trident Technical College in 2010 before transferring to U.S.C and getting his Associate in Art & Science.  It was after experiencing hair loss and researching remedies that he stumbled across Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) in 2019.  Personally, deciding to receive the procedure he almost immediately returned and began training. Traveling to: Orlando, Phoenix, London, & N.Y.C before returning home to South Carolina. He spent almost 5 years practicing SMP at, Palmetto Med Spa also located here in Summerville before finding his new home here at JAG Medical Spa!
